I play the harmonium, keyboard, use to play recorder, flute, violin…and I bought a tabla – but havent started taking lessons on it…

Seriously I can play the Acoustic and Base guitar. I can play several types of Woodwind instrument from the Irish Tin Pennywhistle to the Bansuri. I love the Chinese Dizi flute and the Turkic Clarinet and I’m okay at playing the drumkit though its been a while and I am not as fast as I used to be.

I tried to learn to play several instuments but I am terrible on Piano’s and Keyboards. I can play stringed Instruments fairly well espeacially the Guitar and Chinese Guzeng both are good for classic folk songs. I can play a shorter Potwari version of the Classic Indian Sitar. I used to be pretty good on the Harmonium too and the French Organs forgot the actual name for them… ah yeah Acordions I think? :konfused:

I still think for a Man it’s odd but I am best at playing woodwind instruments particularly flutes.

I like to play the Harmonica sometimes becuase that was my first instrument along with the Tin Whistle. Both are easy to carry around pretty much anywhere too. :whistling:

I tried teaching myself violin but left it, I'm looking for a teacher now because I don't hear what I play.

i have won a medal in flute 5 years back :)

now i forgot how did i used to play :( i m not in practice anymore but if i will again start playing then i can win a medal again

I could play percussion instruments with ease, especially hand drums, congo/bongo style ..

I used to play harmonium (still have one) and all the similar intruments (I had accordian that I sold and now feel so stupid now). I also own a Casio keyboard. I dont play them much.

I was very good in violin once, pretty much self taught myself. I picked up on indian flute and harmonica too. But all of them is pretty much that tale of my past now.

I hav guitar in my home but my parent doesn’t allow me to play it. I can play tune from the song 'Ab to aadat si hy Mujko aise jeenay mein’ but now i’m out of pratice :frusty:

Nice! Yea Ive been practicing Rahat new songs on it... and theres this song by Mauj called Mauqa (Pakistani band) and harmonium part of the song is killer...hard to play tho...

Yea def will do....its not that great...ordered it from India - came in 2 days tho!! but I want one with a scale changer so iA if I go to Pakistan I want to actually play it before purchasing it...to make sure its just right...instead of buying it online...

The scale changer ones are really cool. My wife brought mine from India too, but the only cool factor in that its collapsible one so it takes a thinner form once not in used.
