Anyone here in the US work at a Federal job?

Just curious. Seems like next to impossible to get one. Just keep applying, sending resumes and transcripts and all I get are rejections.

^ Your mistake is the assumption that one actually WORKS at a Federal job. It's all about contacts.

I will have to agree with skhan here. From my personal experience, contacts are the way to go. The position I got was through my boss who i had workd for before. Even though the position was not advertised, since they knew me and my work, I was called in.
