On such scenario would be. You divorced and still dependent on each other.

Or got divorce with out living together now can not marry each other, but don’t find any thing
wrong with each other.

this is a really tough one, cause once you're divorced theres no going back.

I thnk they need to sit and discuss factors that LEAD to this in the first place

Watched a cousin wife who was dying from cancer search for another wife for her husband (my cousin), and a mother for her two young children for when she was gone. She looked and vetoed many women, until she found the 'right' one. Most heart wrenching thing to see. She has been gone more than a decade now, and the second wife and my cousin are extremely happy and blessed; the two young children are now 18 and 16 years old, love their 'Ami' .
