I had a very steady weight for most of my life since puberty but I managed to put a few kg on (not intentionally). I was snacking more, so rather than not having anything with my tea or just one biscuit I was eating more junk. Like a packet of crisps, which I would rarely previously eat, a full bar of chocolate etc. I suddenly got a pechant for stuff I wouldn’t before touch with a barge pole (gulab jamen and ladoo) which then my mum thinking she was being nice.. kept buying some every week, so I kept eating them :/. A healthier way could be to keep snacking on nuts and stuff like that. And my lunch portion size increased to double or third in terms of calories, from being modest sized healthy sandwiches to going out for lunch at least 3 times a week, usually with lots of carbs involved.

Let’s see how long it takes to lose it now. Hopefully should be a kg a week!
