Re: Anyone go to antenatal classes?
I took antenatal/prenatal classes in my third trimester. I don't think they're absolutely necessary, but they did help me a lot. You're basically prepared for labour, birth, and early parenthood. They also teach you breathing techniques and exercises for labour. The worst bit for me was the birthing videos they showed. In some twisted way, they kinda helped, but I'd rather not have watched. Ignorance is a bliss.
Re: Anyone go to antenatal classes?
NO WAY, im not watching that, thank god i wont be watching my own.....so why do we need to watch it......i understand its probably not the most relaxing experience, no need to scare me...
Re: Anyone go to antenatal classes?
i would be more interested in knowing if there are any classes pregnant woman can attend to get rid of back pain or any relaxation classes or stuff like that...
Re: Anyone go to antenatal classes?
I went to the classes and didn't find too useful, I think I got more anxious after taking the classes. There is ton of information available out there, if I had known better I wouldn't have taken them IMO.
