Anyone feeling the fast?

I know it’s much longer now, In England it’s 4am to 8pm thats 16hours. I remember in Decemeber the short fasts, ended at around 3:30pm.

It's THAT long in England?!?!?!

In Southern USA (Centra Time), the Sehri time is around 5:30 a.m. while the iftaar time is around 7:45 p.m.

It’s from 5 am till 8 pm tonight.

I was cooking iftaari and my kids were coming back and forth for paKoras. And on top of that saying yummmmmmy mom, those are the best I’ve ever eaten :hinna:

Yeah I know how you feel, there was a Barbecue at work yesterday. I was so excited, because at the time I didn’t know Ramadan was beginning on the 31st. And then on the day before the barbecue my mom told me that Ramadan began today and that she would wake me up early in the morning. I had to work while my co-workers were eating Mexican Fajitas that our store manager had made. And the thing about work is that we aren’t allowed to take breaks after 6pm, so I had to sneak a snack for Iftaar :D.

Yeah, the iftari is round about the same but atleast it's not hot weather like the conditions in Pakistan right now.

I just had iftari wooh!

Today’s roza is felt a little more because I spoke a LOT today, especially early morning so now my throat is dry and feels like tiny people are poking sticks inside my throat

Kuch nahi yaar, I returned to work after 2 weeks, isliye sab Maha k baarey mein pooch rahey they aur sab ko apni leave k baarey mein bata raha tha

That was metaphor yaar. When your throat is dry, doesn't it hurt because it's not lubricated? Those tingling/poking feelings is what I am referring to as "tiny people inside my throat poking me"
