Anyone feel those tremors ??

Apparently many cities on the North American East Coast got rocked by tremors. Hopefully everyone is ok… Who felt it?

It was 5.7 magnitude here since the epicenter was close by… some books and CDs got knocked off the shelf but that’s about it.

May Allah keep all in his amaan.

Ya I felt it…It was weird…=\ We stop felting it but they are still showing it on the news…May Allah Protect us all and keep us safe.

@ first, i thought someone heavier than me is running on our floor :hehe: but when the plasma right above my head/shoulder started shaking, i realized it’s an earthquake :stuck_out_tongue:

I felt it in downtown Toronto - didn't know what it was until later when someone confirmed it was tremors from a quake.

at first I thought my sister was bugging me since we kick the wall to call each other...<.<

But than I went to her room and seen that she wasnt there..that made me a little worried :(

the cell phone service around here has been affected... and people in the downtown area were evacuated... some older buildings were damaged. I'm trying to get in touch with my wife but she's probably still not back in her office.

my facebook is filled with “omg was that an earthquake? :O” all within 5 mins of each other.

^ yeah... that's what my twitter feed is like... I guess it's cuz everyone was surprised... we're not used to them here, but apparently, we get one invariably above 5.0 about every 10 years - just heard it on the news on CBC... something to do with the fault lines running through St. Lawrence river.
