I wear foundation everyday, however i have a neutral skin tone matching foundation that i wear everyday and a “lighter” one that i wear when going out to a party especially weddings when i cake it on…but in a natural way! i don’t look like my face was dipped in atta, but i like to look gori…anyone else do this?
anyone have the perfect foundation/color for the party “gori” look that doesn’t make you look too clowney?

I look spanish anyway, so I just use light foundation-my fav? The mineral stuff from Almay for now. I tried the Rimmel foundation but it has specks of shine...

I just use Maybelline New York Mineral Foundation in the 'light' shade- it maches my skin tone perfectly.

^me too! even though i consider myself medium their mineral powders run kind of dark so their light shades are perfect for me!
Be careful, “gori” in your own lighting may look alright.. but in any other different kind of lighting it will look a few shades furthur lighter than your few shades lighter foundation.

I got a foundation last summer that perfectly matched my skin tone then but I got fairer in Winter so now I just look dark/tanned in it… now I’ll have to go spend 40-50 bucks again on a new foundation

really? does the lighter foundation blend well with your neck or do you end up applying foundation on the neck as well? Also, why do you want to “look gori”? 
I can understand having brighter, more luminous skin but you can achieve that without wearing a mismatched foundation shade
For drugstore foundations I’m usually the lightest shade so even if I wanted to buy a lighter foundation I wouldn’t be able to. I was matched to NC20 for MAC’s SFF, I think if I went a shade lighter I’d just look odd.

I got this foundation from Pakistan that suits me well but is too thick far day wear. It is a little lighter too, than my mineral foundation day wear. But it goes. It doesn't look flaky, unless I wear a lot.

oh god, i wore the gorilook on honeymoon. not a good look. im already fair, but the makeup given to me as a lil gift by my cousins, was too light for me..i looked perfectly fine in my mirror, however in thje pix from honeymoon i look like a twat. all attafied face, u cant see my features, just white powder..
