Anyone else felt this....

Aoa…

so I am 32 weeks… and this being my first I have no idea of what is normal and what isn’t… I usually keep my ears open for movement or lack of…but lately everytime I start walking it feels like the baby is gonna come… is that normal… I do have a UTI infection which I don’t think has gone away completely so when I pee… I feel a pulsing sensation is that normal…

Pls all of you keep me and my baby in ur duaas… this definitely has not been an easy ride for us…

Re: Anyone else felt this....

When you say you feel like baby is gonna come, do you mean you feel pressure/pain?

pain with pressure.....

Re: Anyone else felt this....

I think that sounds normal. Your baby has probably dropped, and is head down.Your doctor can check during your next visit.

Re: Anyone else felt this....

I wish my baby would 'drop' soon, inshAllah. I'm also 32 weeks and baby is still breech. I'm scared baby won't drop, but at least I know i'm not going into labour anytime soon! :-D

Re: Anyone else felt this…

My sister used to have the same feeling many weeks before the birth of her baby. She was due on 9th of April but her baby was born on 16th of april :vivo: so I guess this is normal.

Re: Anyone else felt this....

its normal girly... i felt it all teh way through my final trimester.... teh baby has just dropped...

funny enough.. although itw as in position and sitting low.. it was still 11 days overdue and even then didnt come out easily :D

Re: Anyone else felt this....

I'm 29 weeks, 5 days and I'm having the same feeling. When I walk I feel like I'm carrying a big bag of stones and feel that I have to sit down for a few mins or won't be able to walk. :S I saw my doctor yesterday and she said the baby is in head down position but it will keep changing positions until week 36 when pregnancy is coming to end...

Re: Anyone else felt this....

^ 'carrying a bag of stone' is much different then the 'feeling like baby is gonna come out with pain and pressure' down there (as automne77 mentioned) ....automne, u need to be extra careful now and must check with your doctor soon.... 32 weeks is too early for the baby to 'drop' .... make sure u r with someone all the time ....

Hi

I am a student midwife (qualify in september inshallah) but what you are experiencing is pretty normal. You will find that all your ligaments, tissues are softening and stretching to accomodate the baby and prepare you for the labour. In the coming weeks as well you should experience more pressure and your midwife will start talking about engagement. you will hear her mention 4/5, 3/5 engaged and all she's talking about is how much of the babies head is in the pelvis. Once it starts to engage your baby is most likely to stay in the heads down position.
