I cried when I saw Bagdad being bombed today on television. Not because I support Saddam, but because my heart worried about the people there. People just like me.
People with kids and parents and families they love.
I cried. It hurt watching that.
Not because I am even an Iraqi. Not because I am even a Muslim.
I’m not either the above^.
I cried because it hurts seeing people hurt.

well, i didn’t cry. crying is pure helplessness in this case. i was extremely sad though to see repeat bombings on the beautiful and historic Baghdad city. why is this war even necessary?..all it prompts is needless killing and breeds further contempt and antagonism. i am very sad for my fellow muslims over there who are innocent targets in this crazy, evil war. my heart goes out to him manyfold. may Allah mian watch over the Iraqi people.
