Hi again.
I am going for law school but would like to hear from ppl who have already studied law or at least tried it. How is it? Is it hard to study law while working full time??? And if there are any lawyers on GS, pls let me know your views/experience/anything that might help me make my mind about this cuz i m still double minded…dont know whether or not i should go for it. On the other hand, i want to do MBA too.

I would love to become one too, I work full time and going to be Father of two, do you guys think its hard to study to be a Lawer. I have already MSc in Information Systems. I live in Manchester, does anyone know the good college Uni or short course to be a lawer.

i m in the same boat…looking for some info…well i dont know of any short course to become a lawyer, angel eyes might be able to tell u this…i think if u have already attended law school somewhere else, then u can take some short courses and then take the bar exam…but again i m not really sure. I m gonna be a fresh law school student and what i can tell u from my experience is that LSAT is one crazy exam…and i m taking prep classes for LSAT. Have u taken LSAT yet?

Pagli: LSAT is crazy and hard..... :( ...glad its over with. I took the class through testmasters. The guy, Robin Singh, who is the head of the program teaches excellent. If you get an opportunity get a class from him. He usually teaches in big cities. If you have a good teacher for testmasters u will understand it easily. Did you start applying for law school yet? I need help too.....badly. :( By the way law school is very hard to get into....harder than I ever thought. And the law school you get into makes a difference in the type of jobs u get in ur future....lots to think about.

yeah i had taken it with princeton review…they are ok. But yes the test is mad confusing…it takes hours to solve those games that they give on test with too little time to do them. Right answers are not impossible to get but the time is really a big issue. i have been checking different schools but i think chances are…i’ll go to my old school SJU in queens…but if u look at the tuition and stuff, its really expensive. and for this reason…queens college is the best bet but i dont like the environment + faculty…cuz most of them are tooo rude, seriously. For me getting into a good school is not that important cuz i m already working with a lawyer and he’ll keep me as an attorney for sure once i get my degree and take bar exam…i asked him;) but yes it does make a difference. what schoold do u have on mind?

Salam Zafar, I am studying Law at university and believe that if you have a degree in another subject there is a conversion course that takes 1 to 2 years and allows you to go onto the bar or the law society.
