i think most people like them cuz they are by far the most tasteful and
good-urdu band round the corner. not very good lyrics or aything,but the right choice of words and right kind of pop tunes.
i really find them lame tho.

@ the mo' mate only u think that they suck. i personally am a big fan of rahim shah and out of the pop bands in pak fuzon r my fav' they rock, gr8 lyrics they have in their songs.
I dont really like them nor do i really listen or wait for dere music but one song that i liked was DUUR

The track .. Naa Jaane Kyoo is top quality stuff.
and there previous album had quite a few chart busters too. Strings is one of the best bands around, and one of the very few thats providing quality music.
Besides good lyrics and tunes, their music is different from all that we have these days. besides, I for once can not listen to the same song for more than a week.

Make Rahim Shah sing Sarr Kiye yeh Pahaar, and he'd suck! make Bilal or Faisal sing Pyaar Nahi Milta and they'd suck too...

in my opinion, the way faisal sings duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuur,ooooo, duuuuuuuur saaaaaaaaay koee aiiay, in that nauseating nasal voice
makes me cringe with agony. 
strings suck big time ..i can even perform well then strings in live concerts...they r losers

Strings are good. They have good lyrics and musically there songs are more mature now. Faisal Kapadia was trained by Sohail Rana from the tender age of 6 in his programs. Bilal is a good guitaris and musician. He also has proven his vocals in Sir Kiye ye Pahar and Mera Bichra Yaar.
Rahim Shah is like a playback singer. An authentic voice that you can use in love songs and film tracks. He copies Kumar Sanu btw.
i like strings, i think they're music is diverse, innovative and fresh. I love their song Dhaani, Soniye and the new one for Spiderman, Najaane Kyun. Also i loved Durr, don't be too hard on them, i think they're great.

Chali aati hain, jumma jumma aath din huey nahee, Rahim Shah is better than Strings. Arrey bibi, Rahim Shah jaisay hazaar marain, tau aik Bilal aur Faisal paida hoN.
