What do you think of it? I can talk via my laptop but haven’t figured out how to make it work on my cellphone yet.

Yea its good stuff . . . and most of all FREE 
Call your Google Voice number from your phone and it will give you a whole menu to dial a phone number .

I am using it from last three years. Now after moving to Pakistan I use it as my secondary number, because it doesn't work without VPN here.
on the other hand use Skype to go its like 3$ per month for unlimited calling to US/Canada with local number. Working perfectly on my iPhone on wifi & ufone edge network on the road.
i mean how much easy it can become, 3$ a month and you call US number and I receive call in Faisalabad?

GV # is my primary number I give out. On the backend i can change cellphones, jobs, home #'s, location etc etc. When I'm at my home office it works with my PC. When I'm out of the country i make free calls, plus being able to SMS from anywhere in the world is just wonderful. When people leave voicemails it transcribes them and I just read it even if i'm busy. Sometimes it makes me chuckle when i read mis-transcriptions. Its a beautiful service.

What kind of T Mo plan you got STA? I have T Mo and Skype works great!
