inline blades are easier than rollerskates. as for tips, just the usual - bend your knees, fall fwds than backwards, wear your knee and palm guards. have fun.

I have usually done the oldie version of roller skates instead of the inline ones..and now thinking of switching to the inline ones, any pointers:faizy:

can u skate on ice? if so, then apparently rollerblading is sinch (works vice versa as well!)

waise i dont know how to rollerblade… i’ve always been better on bikes back in the days

The closest i came to rollerblading was back in karachi 1996 when my brother sent me a pair of blades from amreeka. Only problem was he didnt realize i'm not size 8 anymore but toadstooled into 11 instead. And so those blades sat there rotting.

inline roller blades, inline ice skates .. champion of street hockey rite here

i will say the same, use knee, elbow pads, impact gloves and helmet.. yes it looks gay.. but when situation calls, it doesnt give u ANY time in dislocating things

1-Yeah little different how you balance your self.
2-Depending on where you live–try buying your skate from wall-mart.
From sports shop skates with aluminum chases cast you about $140 and over.
Wall mart its about $60 and over.
Buy skates with a larger wheels (usually there are 2 kinds 72 mm and 76mm)

3-Since you are new buy skates with break pad on the back of one skate.
4-Want to be good skater do some running too(uphill)
hmmmmmmmmm

5-Don’t skate when you are sleepy-- I got my self injured once.(well twice)
6-Since its easy to go to longer distance-- You ma be tempted to go to deserted places but DONT.

7-Care full skating at night–buy reflector jacket

err.. larger wheels = faster and lesser control. you might wanna hold back on larger wheels until you are having fun with the smaller ones.
