So, question for US guppies:
Anybody have concealed weapons permit and own a concealed weapon (gun, hand gun, etc.)?
I’ve been thinking about getting one… you never know when you will need it.
Any ideas?

In oder to get a legal permit, you need to have a specific reason. And even then, you may not get the permit. If you own a store and need to make cash drops is one reason, I dont recall what the others are. "Self protection" doesnt cut it. Its also a good way to get yourself carefully scrutinized if you know what I mean. Not a good idea IMHO, esp if its for purposes of "self protection". A shotgun in your home is one thing but carrying a pistol is something not taken lightly.

You have the right to bear arms, sure. But you also have to bear them within the limits of the law, yeah? Having a shotgun in your home for protection or for hunting is no problem. But walking around town with a concealed saturday night special or a semi-automatic sawed off shotgun? Nope.

I read about the process for GA state and its pretty strict... eik dafa mil jaye na yaar.
Ab permit leney ke leye store le banda or register a company? How do these red necks and others get it?

The Chief of Police has the authority to issue concealed weapons permits to private persons. Concealed weapon permit is issued although only under rare and exigent circumstances. The Chief of Police may issue a license to carry a concealed weapon

Too bad penile enlargement is not medically viable, it would cut down the need for this stuff.
As far as true home protection, a shotgun is clearly superior as Mama suggests. Just the sound of racking a shell generally gets positive results. I have two big German Shepards, so I have no need to carry around a weapon.
So give us your reason for needing a weapon buddy, otherwise we will all just assume that you are some insecure goober who wants to feel like a big man.
