anyone did the Bloody Mary thing....i forgot we would say bloody mary a few times in the dark and then go look in the mirror i think...supposedly u would see her ghost...who knows. I know back then we were scared as ever!!!!
Repeating "Bloody Mary" a few times in the dark is a delay tactic that serves to acclimatize (sp?) your eyes to the dark. Once they have adjusted, they tell you to go to a lit room with a mirror (preferably a bathroom). As your eyes adjust back to the brightness, you see shadows. Your mind, expecting to see a ghost because you've been told that you will, convinces you that these shadows actually form a shape.
Just a mind game.
