There is that trademark memon intelligence and honesty. Combine that with trademark Punjabi traits that would get you noticed, and you would be looking at life in prison.
I think you cant really do much about this issue unfortunately .. I mean the staring part , Allah hi poochay ga.
But if they dare to touch you, then stop them immediately, see if you have a witness available and call the police on them. Sharjah Police does take this absolutely seriously
I live in Sharjah and it's been a long time living here for me too!
Well, I have noticed that but I don't pay much attention to it. None of what you've said has actually happened to me but I can tell you that if you approach Sharjah Police about this harassment they will definitely help you. Also, I don't go to the malls or shopping centers on Friday because that's all of the workers day off and there are literally thousands of men just walking in the mall and ogling women. I also wear abaya.
I think that if you let yourself feel that they are staring at you, then it somehow becomes more obvious to them and they stare more. Best thing I do, is keep doing what I'm doing but stay safe.
Ok, I read your post again. You have the right to scream at anyone who harasses you and please do not keep quiet about it. I know my dad told me to be confident in myself when I'm out so no one actually dares to come across me and it does work.
ignore their unwanted non-physical activities or, better yet, complain to the mall administration in writing about the sexual harasssment by these goons...may be ask your friends to sign up as well.
