is there any program online that i can download that blocks all the inappropriate sites on internet?.. you guys know what i mean by inappropriate sites right?.. plzz suggest any good ones that totally blocks these sites. Thanks.

insert line

Download Crawler Parental Control & Web Security Guard... the good thing is .. its Set limits on time spent .... and ya also Receive reports about selected activity on your computer...

easiest and cheapest method would be to use an alternative DNS server, try OpenDNS

In saudi arabia it is already blocked...
In Pakistan there are few ISP which has blocked such sites i.g. SafeOnline (SOL), better to find out such an ISP in your locality who has blocked such sites.

I found an another way, try to install latest windows live products,
there is a component in it called
'Windows Live Family Safety'
I think it will help you to block such sites.

I remember seeing a filter like the one you're mentioning in a corporate network once. That went to the extent of blocking hotmail because it had the word hot in it. LOL!

I am not sure how your network is setup but I assume its a home network (more than 2,3 PCs?) If you have an old PC laying around somewhere, something like 512mb RAM with at least 1ghz CPU and two NICs then I suggest that you put Untangle gateway on it. Its **free **and it works.
If you don’t have a PC then you can buy one for those specs very cheap.
You will get top notch web filter, along with 10+ other tools (firewall, spam filter, anti virus, web filter + reports) for the WHOLE network rather than just one PC.

Your ISP may have free parental control software available to its users. Like AT&T here in the US provides the entire suite of Yahoo Parental Controls.
That way you don't have to re-invent the wheel and can block all kinds of sites from your home network. These solutions are generally bloated and UI is noob-friendly, but its usually free and work fine.
