My 1 year old niece recently came back from Pakistan where she spent a few months and according to her parents she was never put in a car seat the whole time she was there. Of course, now she is having a hard time sitting in a car seat when we are driving. Initially when we put her in she’s alright, but after a while she becomes really agitated and it gets to the point where we have to take her out of it.
How do you get kids used to the car seat?

take advil yourself, and let you child get used to the car seat, if she get agitate and you take her out everyitme, she will expect you to keep doing that. The best we did was one of us used to sit with my son at the back, calm him down and then continue.
BTW nobody or I should say hardly anybody put their kids in car seat in pak.
