I am facing a problem and I can’t seem to figure it out. I had downloaded a movie from torrents.to and now everytime I try to open the folder, windows explorer crashes and I get a message that it is restarting. And then the folder is closed. I have tried deleting that movie and folder in safe mode but it doesn’t get deleted. The file is above 1 GB and when I try to delete it in safe mode, it just gives me the message that it is deleting and calculating the time but this goes on for a very long time.
Can anyone pls help me deleting this file. Thanks in advance.
Before deleting such file/folder always delete temporary files in temp folders to access these
go to start>run>Type “temp” and/or %temp%. delete all files then delete the desired file/folder
2)Use cc cleaner. Go to options>include>add and then browse to destination folder. then run the cc cleaner. You will be done.
If Malwarebytes did not help, cc cleaner won’t do much.
Download ComboFix (should be run by a techie but oh well). When you save the file for download, RENAME IT to something like Combo-Fix.exe BEFORE saving, not after downloading… and then RUN IT AS ADMINISTRATOR.
