I am being overwhelmed by the glory of Allah tala thru this magic Qawalli.

I feel I am about to burst with love for the supreme One, oh how I seek the hand of the divine!

Unenlightened ones may joke. Its 01:27 and I have more energy then ever. Unity with the One is achieveable thru devotion to Allah's messenger.

I am not into criticizing any man for his approach to Allah. This spiritual path has many roads.

Many of the ‘Sufi’ mehfils in England are totally opposite to the one’s you are wishing to come across. Places like Blackburn, Birmingham, Peterborough, Bradford, Leeds etc are full of the Naqshaband, Chisti & Qadri tareeqa; they tend to do (OR did when I used to attend) actual zikar of Allah and not turn the atmosphere into a rave!

Lajjo, Uncle. I dont know what kind of out-there stuff you dabbled in when you were young but I assure you, Bollywood is no longer "Hip" (not to be confused with its sister the replacement) and (as Hot as Zeenat Aman remains) - it is certainly not the vehicle for spiritual enlightenment.

The day that you can Rival the likes of Rumi, Hafiz, Omar, Attar and their very esteemed counterparts is the day that you can pass Judgement on the intoxicating clarity that such verse can inspire. Till then I am sure that those in glass houses (that appear as yet unclean) will not cast first stones.

Yes, I am from Naqshabandi-Chisti background in terms of practice. Members of my family are ba'at in both Tareeqahs.

You will find many naqshbandis in UK!! just ask around sunniforum like i said..

I did spend many years at a church school. But it is a concept easily adaptable to Islam. The sin is bad, the sinner is still good at heart.
