I am not really into day trading…but these days I have adopted a guerrilla approach to investing…which means I don’t maintain a position for too long (avg 2-4 weeks).
So, the stock gurus out there…please recommend any stocks you feel good about for the short-term and also mention why ?
I received the following tips, do your own research:
*RCI (Renal Care Group--$33.4; -0.24; optionable): Specialized health services. *
Company Profile
STATUS:An excellent handle has formed for Renal (the Smuckers of health services), moving laterally on top of the 18 day EMA (33.24) on nice, low below average volume. Just a very nice 29 week base sporting strong 6 to 2 accumulation. Being patient and letting it show us the volume move through the buy point. That is when we will jump on board.
*LFUS (Littelfuse--$39.14; -0.51; optionable): Circuit protection products for electronic, auto, and electric markets. *
Company Profile
STATUS: Tremendous run in 2003 to June 2004, and it needed a good base to set up for the next big run. The current 5.5 month pattern has done just that, and now LFUS is working laterally in its three week handle, the point where the last weak holders in the base are shaken out as they become frustrated that the stock has apparently stalled out before reaching the old high. Fearing another tank they sell out. The low volume, however, tells us they are not many. Moreover, positive accumulation tells us there are more buyers than sellers, and rising money flow that is rallying higher even as the price moves laterally shows money moving into the stock, preparing the way higher. Volume started to edge up some last week as the trading range narrowed. That often precedes the breakout move, so we want to be ready this week.
