my bro is serving in PAF as an aerospace engg, he has a real tough routine , hardly get his lunch , sometimes have to work till late at night , has office work + practical / technical practice to do , also has to go for routine excersises like every every 1 1/2 or 2 months , has no time to study further . Get time off on sundays & public holidays. Soldiers other than engg have to do office work daily like 9-5 kindaa routine , also has to go for excersise + training .
forgot to tell that my bro is pretty young , in his 20s so basically my post represented those who're young officers , i've no idea what senior soldiers routine is like ??
life in arm forces is similar to everyone elses...but in terms of recreational activities there is lot more fun n cool stuff is there in their lives. n i m talking about all arm forces PAF, Navy n Army. :D (b/t there is load of discrimination in terms of ranking/ grades, epecially among officers n non-officers- i have no clue about non officers recreational activities)
oh yeah! i went to the army base in abottabad...my cousin was posted there. and man it was just so fun! like right across the road is the gym and it's like anyone can go there. and that's just the beginning.
continuous training and preparation of war, a soldier is taught that every living breathing moment of his life, he is at war. as a result, they're pretty much kept at their feet at all times, peace or no peace
i'm related to a soldier but i dont know about their routine as the soldier left army when i was an infant. And now when i'm a grown up.....the soldier is no where to answer the question.
I have quite a few relatives who currently are Army or PAF officers. When I visit Pakistan, I find them to be quite busy. I guess they do spend quite a lot of time in training and working out strategies, as well as controlling law and order in the country. At least that's how it looks.
