that disturbing pic is creepy lolz

nice pix stoppit
are those ur screenshots or from a website?

Re: Any RPG fans?

mine!

The only ones that come to mind right now are Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VIII. This is one genre (or sub genre) that's mostly absent from the PC.

You can also get Phantasy Star Online and Phantasy Star Universe on the PC but those are not traditional JRPGs.

wow nice
so morrowind or oblivian?

yeah i've played the final fantasy VII on pc :)

Re: Any RPG fans?

^yeh, the japanese are console gamers.

I played both 7 and 8 on the PC. 7 seems to have problems with the graphics cards in recent years (since they stopped patching) and most people can't play it unless they have an old PC, which is a shame coz the graphics are a LOT clearer than on the PS. I bought the PS version last year and was sorely disappointed, I didn't realise there was going to be so much difference.

for what? to play?

i'd go with Oblivion i guess, you'll have more immediate fun. Morrowind requires a lot more dedication and if you leave it for a while you'll be like 'wtf? what was i doing??'

I also played FF7 on the PC. I tried it on the PS as well but the PC version was far superior. In addition to cleaner graphics, it also had a lot of more space for saved games and loading was also much quicker.

Re: Any RPG fans?

lolz yeah i was asking which to play
k then i’ll install oblivian again :phati:

yup PC games have alwayz been better then the same console games :)

I don't know about that. I've heard that Halo ran much better on the XBox than it did on the PC. I haven't played it myself but that's what I've heard from people who have played both versions. There might be other games that don't necessarily have the advantage on the PC. Besides, with the specs of the consoles these days, I don't think it's going to be all that different.

Re: Any RPG fans?

edit: posted in wrong thread

yeah thats the disadvantage of the PC
it requires new hardware if some1 wants to run the games @ their best graphics.

PC games would look better then the console version since u can have antialiasing, and other effects , at the cost of latest hardware. Which can be VERY expensive. There are graphics card out there which cost as much as an xbox360

whats this all about?

Re: Any RPG fans?

^rpg games (role playing games)

Re: Any RPG fans?

I can't believe you haven't played Fallout 1,2 yet? You are missing out on some great RPGs.

Re: Any RPG fans?

^i’ve got fallout 3 but havent installed it
got very less time for games :bummer:

Same here. I hardly have time to play these days. Back in the day, I’d spend most of my weekend playing through RPGs. I hardly have the time to play now. I still have a few games I haven’t even played yet. Now when I have an RPG session, I don’t know when to expect the next one.

Re: Any RPG fans?

and by time time u get to play it later, its not as interesting as it is if u play continuously :bummer:

That depends on how much time you take between two gaming sessions where you're playing the game. If it's a couple of days, it's ok. Even a couple of weeks is ok sometimes. When it gets to a couple of months, then it affects the experience. What I would do therefore is to spend a couple of days where I'd take time on evenings and weekends to play a game and then not play anything for the next couple of weeks.
