My problem is weak and soft nails. My nails are so soft that they bend, and due to this reason I have never been able to grow them :(. Now my wedding is approaching in October inshaAllah, and I don’t want to rely on artificial nails as I did on my engagement. So please suggest me any solution that works fast. Another thing is that the nails of my index and middle fingers of both the hands are particularly weak, and the rest are fine. I don’t know what the problem is, but the suggestions would be much appreciated.
First, you need more calcium in your diet. Milk, cheese, yogurt, even ice cream. If you dont like dairy products, then start taking a calcium supplement. Also, make sure you are eating a multi-vitamin everyday. I used to not care about taking multi-vitamins, but during this ramadaan, my fiance made me start taking them, and I really notice the difference (not as tired, have more energy, healthier skin, healthier nails).
A really fast solution is to get a nail hardner, its like a nail polish, but its clear, and you put it on and its supposed to make your nails harder. Sally Hansen has a really good one. Im not sure where in Pakistan it would be available, but you can ask around. I hope that helps!
ITS bit strange and hard but quick relief solution use fresh garlict massage yr nails with lahsan k chelay huay joay say with the both side evening and morning do it regularly its specially for strethning of weak nails
i have the same nail problems. it runs in my family. paper thin nails that bend, crack and break all the time.
i tried everything! the garlic was the worst...i did that, and all that happened was that my nails turned yellowish and reeked of garlic.
i even tried the witchcraft nail polish thingy (clear nail polish). Couple of months ago, i tried this cream (horse something), but nothing. Has an interesting scent, but dried out my nails and cuticles big time.
my cousin had nails like mine. but now they normal and hard. i asked how how she did it..she told me that she wears nail polish all the time. Well i cant do that because i need to pray namaz.

Awww...so are you married? What did you do on your wedding day?
I also try to say my prayers regularly, so I have to remove nail polish even if I apply it...:|

I already take a lot of dairy products, like at least two glasses of Nesvita, which has added calcium and yogurt too, but now I've started taking CaC 1000 as well, which was recommended to me by my doctor as well, now let's see if I notice any improvement in 1.5 months, or if I have to rely on fake nails again...:|
