Any opticians on GS??

I seem to get dry eyes really quickly. Its more of an issue now than before. A lot of my time I spend at a computer (part of my job). Is there any kind of specific type of eye drops that anyone can recommend?? Or just anything i can do at home to give me not so dry eyes??

merci…

Dry Eye Products

this is what I use (the second product specifically) it is kind of a milky drop, that clears up after a few seconds, but it works wonders!

My eye doctor ruled me out for LASIK, because I have chronic dry eyes. These drops really help when I use them prior to putting my contacts in.

Re: Any opticians on GS??

Is it only because of sitting on the computer? I ask since staring at a screen means that you are blinking less and that causes dryness as well. You should take a 5-10 minute break to rest your eyes and exercise your hind :)

Re: Any opticians on GS??

Visine eye drops help a lot in clearing redness from the eyes. you can also buy 'artificial tears' and use them to moisten your eyes.

my Optometrist suggested that i must practice 20-20 that means my eyes stay on comp screen for 20 minutes and then take them off from the screen for 20 seconds...look around.

Re: Any opticians on GS??

Visine usually does the trick. If you are looking to prevent it, try fish oil supplements (if fish isn't a part your daily diet).

I would suggest you see an ophthalmologist to rule out Sjogren’s syndrome:
