Any one here get attacked by the foot during namaz????

I hate it when your reading namaz and the guy rite next to you keeps touching you with his toes and then at times scratching you with it.

PISSESS ME OFFFFFF!!!

Re: Any one here get attacked by the foot during namaz???

And I hate it when the guy in the next row takes his sweet time getting up and by the time you are getting up after sajdah, his ass hits you on the head. Pisses me OFF! :frusty2:

Re: Any one here get attacked by the foot during namaz????

Re: Any one here get attacked by the foot during namaz???

Oh oh, one more thing: You would be quietly reading your soorat or tash-had or whatever, all of the sudden, the very religous person sitting next to you will say a word or two a little bit loudly every so often and it divides my attention and makes me forget and start all over again :mad3:

Re: Any one here get attacked by the foot during namaz???

Re: Any one here get attacked by the foot during namaz????

Actually lots of times people say duas almost out loud.
I don't understand the purpose of this.
Either speak up and clearly or just say it silently in your heart.

I also think that's the way they saw other people do it growing up
and therefore it's a learnt habbit.

Re: Any one here get attacked by the foot during namaz???

When our prophet prayed his beard moved up and down meaning he said his prayer not silently in his heart but silently out loud.

Re: Any one here get attacked by the foot during namaz????

you guys seem to have some real pleasant experiences...are we getting a little angry during the month of Ramadan???? Patienceeeee is the key! :p

Re: Any one here get attacked by the foot during namaz???

You are supposed to move your lips while offering namaz. That’s fine. I move my lips too when I read surahs but I can’t even hear myself. It’s those annoying people who whisper the surahs. Here you are sitting quietly and reading your surahs and the person is also reading them quietly but all of the sudden he whispers and then quiet and then whispers and then quiet and so on. I mean come ON! Either keep whispering or shut up. Do one thing, not both. I know I shouldn’t pay attention but it’s loud enough to grab my attention and I am not so much into Namaz as other people may be, that’s why it ticks me off and I forget where I was and then I start all over again :grumpy:

Ladyhoney

Re: Any one here get attacked by the foot during namaz???

^ after nazaam yes.. but it was during namaaz.. so we couldn’t do anything..:bummer: but our body was hurting so much..:bummer:

Re: Any one here get attacked by the foot during namaz???

hahahaha that’s hilarious.

Sometimes when I stand next to an Auntie during namaaz, she’ll get up from sajdah before me and she’ll use my back to support herself when she’s getting up, so when I try to stand up, I get my face shoved back on the ground because she’s pushing against my back to stand up :frowning:

Re: Any one here get attacked by the foot during namaz???

Let me tell you a little something about those who follow Imam Shafai:rehm:

According to Imaam Shafai, the feet of eachother must touch and hence you will see people of fiqha-e-Shafai doing that often.

Although I do not follow Imam Shafai:rehm: either but there is nothing to make fun of it or being embarassed about it.

Re: Any one here get attacked by the foot during namaz????

^ yeah but it is also contrary against the teachings of the Imams to make the Salah of another uncomfortable.

I don't mind them touching my feet, just don't do it in a way where it ruins my salah.

As for experiences, ever get that uncle beside you, who reviews with you your WHOLE salah after you've done it. I had this Shaafi uncle review with me my salah, and why I shud pray with hands closed, and positioned at 90 degree angle and blah blah.

Like, seriously, shouldn't people be focusing on their salah, instead of watching the person beside them!

Re: Any one here get attacked by the foot during namaz????

About the cell phones: It's ok if someone forgets to turn it off and that's fine, we are humans and we make mistakes. But when the cell phone does ring, please shut the goddamn thing! It won't hurt you to move your hand press ANY button to turn the ringer off temporarily or just turn it on so the other person on the line gets the idea that you are busy. Do ANYTHING to turn the sound off. But no. They'll just let it ring until it goes to an answering maching itself. I feel like slapping those idiots.
