i have very fond memories of both gujranwala and mirpur. My mother's village is closed to Alipur and we used to go there every summer and i still remember the makai, sarsoon fields and gawa gardens. it was so much fun having an adventure every day out in the farms and after getting tired having a shower in the tube well. the tonga ride from Alipur to the village was amazing. we used to grab suger canes and water melons from farmers land.
