Follow them on the internet mostly - tickets are too expensive.
Just been to one game....a co-worker has season tickets and sold me the ticket for one game that he could not go to.
I think the play Habs in Dec :)

There not doing as bad as some of the others teams...(and i think we all know who they are)..so i don't really have to name any names :P
But the red wings always do so well...but I think cause there plagued with injuries it'll just take some time for them to get the ball rolling!
As for the next Yzerman...that's a toughie...He had the looks and the moves lol :P

Zata and Pav are really disappointing. Problem of the Red Wings is they want to carry the Puck into the net (i.e. with their beautiful plays all the time). There is nothing like the Grind Line (i.e. Maltby - Draper - McCarty) or the 'Russian Five' with Fetisov, Konstantinov, Fedorov, Larionov, Kozlov.

I agree with ya! Just get th puck into the net...who cares how its done! The Russian 5 era was after Yzerman right? I remember Konstantinov coming on the ice in his wheelchair...after they won the cup in I belive '98..so sad what happend to him!

The "Russian Five" era existed when Yzerman was playing. The Grind Line existed then, too. We need these players. The "Russian Five" were the guys taking care of the defense along with Nick Lidstrom and Fedorov, Larionov, Kozlov, Yzerman were the brains of Detroit with Yzerman being the Captain, ultimate leader and wake up caller. We don't have that Today.
We have too much Swedes. Another Problem is, we are not a team who looks for the right moment (i.e. have a brawl like we had it with Ave's in '97) That was hilarious. We don't land these big hits anymore.
I don't know why Zata and Pava don't shoot more often on the net. Look how Ovechkin explodes in every game.
Now that Kronwall is out for 4-8 Weeks, we have to face another great loss till end of January what I don't hope. Damn, Damn, Damn. Then these pisshead refrees who don't give us regular goals (i.e. Brad May's tieing goal against Dallas). This BS referee says the play was whistled dead before he took the shot, but you see it happened after it was in the net. Same happened on Hossa's Goal last year against the Pens.
