I absolutely LOVE Junoon but unfortunately, dont know if they have a new album coming up. Parvaaz is really good though, and “Azaadi” which they sang for “Jinnah” is really good as well.
Did you see them on CNN’s World Beat almost a month ago?? Too bad it was a short interview…but I enjoyed it anyway.
hk, junoon is my fav too, i saw them live in Anaheim last year, it was fantastic. No i didnt’ see them on worldbeat, but they had an interview on BBC once a while back which i saw.

I had to mention one more thing, I think Ali Azmat’s voice is sooooo powerful, its just amazing listening to him sing.

The junoon website http://www.junoon.com says that Junoon is in the studio working on a new album, and the name of the new album has not been announced. They have a “Name the Album” contest, prizes for the first 5 to guess right. email [email protected] to send in your guess. You can even design the cover art yourself.
I am a BIG JUNOON FAN as well! They're excellent - loved Parvaaz and Azaadi. And Ali Azmat is quite fuyne! He has so much passion in his voice.
