Re: any medical student
there are a lot of institutes in Pakistan where they provide courses for MCAT preparation.
I think the best thing for u to do will be to get help from there, but then it depends where in Pakistan u live....All the best...!!...:)
Re: any medical student
I'm not so sure about Pakistan, but here (USA) we have a few options. There is the Princeton Review, Kaplan, and then ofcourse you have online resources you can use to obtain useful information that will assist you in performing well on the MCAT.
I suggest browsing online for some MCAT Prep courses. You maybe able to find a sample test that will give you some idea of the kind of questions that are asked and the manner in which they are asked.
Good luck. I hope you do well. When are you taking the exam, btw?
Re: any medical student
there are tons of institutions and private tutors that prepare you really well to sit for the entry exam for pakistan. just ask around and do a bit of research in finding institutions. where in pakistan are you?
Re: any medical student
KIPS ,Star Academy etc ,but best is study at home as all comes from book
First of all, u have to believe that it is not difficult . It seems easy with proper preparation & hardwork.
As u know it is of MCQ type so you have to prepare according to objective evaluation. Join a reputed academy near ur home. It may seem a bit expensive but they will keep u regular by taking separate chapter tests daily & full course tests in the end.
The best books for study are ur text books. I assure u that biology MCQ's will be word by word from the text book. For physics do practice two & one step numericals loads of times. Most of the english test will not be from ur text book.
Also keep the exact exam pattern in ur mind that is colour filling the circles completely & carefully, checking the number of Q before answering, filling roll no. properly etc. I think not much time is left now in ur test. Remember to devote ur all time to preparation during these months bcoz this is the foundation of ur future; this means watching no TV, less hanging out with friends & less time wastage by other petty means.
