:teary1: help

I am using the finite difference method to solve for a second order DE w/ boundary conditions. In order to find the unknowns I have setup a matix for solving 4 unknowns in the form of [coeff][unknowns]= ]. Does someone have a mathcad sheet to solve for the unknows to obtain an approximate solution? Or how would i solve for this? I’m not very good with mathcad, but its too large of a matrix to solve by hand.

A four by Four matrix is too large to solve by hand? I dont know mathcad by you can definately and easily solve that by hand in the easiest manner by decomposing the matrix. There may also be other methods of solving it by hand.

lol Oops, well I got that one, (4x4) I have several to do, and the largest one is 13x13..I will ask the chinese guy in our class who writes his own programs..

is it a 13 by 13 matrix[A]..with 13** unknowns..?

in the form [A]**=[C]...?
