I’d want to know. Musharraf started out well, and then his leadership and government totally imploded post 2002 elections (with the definite blow coming from the Red Mosque incident and his battles with the judiciary). Now he’s not even remotely like what he initially was, I mean when he came to power after Nawaz Sharif there was much hope. But he’s played his innings pretty badly and basically looks like a clown now. So really, everyone’s been tried and tested and no name comes to mind. Imran Khan is a definite contender for a sincere leader though ![]()

Imran Khan is a definite contender for a sincere leader though
Which is why he'll never get a chance.
Re: Any leader/political party that is sincere with Pakistan?
Imran Khan
Shahbaz Sharif
Aitzaz Ahsen
are three names in my mind as of now...
Re: Any leader/political party that is sincere with Pakistan?
PTI! PTI! PTI! Since Imran Khan is the only sincere leader and has collected great honest people to make up his party… including myself ![]()

Re: Any leader/political party that is sincere with Pakistan?
…
did you cast vote?
btw…he did get some dishonest people on board…which he should’ve done long ago…he needs to have some tactics [albeit messy] to succeed…and after that he can bring the change…
Re: Any leader/political party that is sincere with Pakistan?
Imran has my vote
Re: Any leader/political party that is sincere with Pakistan?
well no one is sincere with pakistan right now, but the sincere leadrers are resting in grave in Mazar e Quaid. other is rubbish

Re: Any leader/political party that is sincere with Pakistan?
I have serious doubts abt any from the Sharif clan. PTI is a good option, and there are some people in PML-Q who're doing okay as well. An alliance between PTI and PML-Q (who have a relatively clean record) may not be that bad an idea.
Re: Any leader/political party that is sincere with Pakistan?
^ seriously?? Q-League are sincere to pakistan?? Nab sold-out Lotay??
Re: Any leader/political party that is sincere with Pakistan?

he is a sincere guy but I am not sure if he is a leader.
Re: Any leader/political party that is sincere with Pakistan?

correct.....but his leadership skills [if any] are yet to be tested........whereas 'leadership' and 'sincerety' of the rest has already been tested and failed repeatedly..
Re: Any leader/political party that is sincere with Pakistan?
Their are millions who are sincere, but unfortunately none of them possess any leader kind-a traits... definitely not even Imran.
Shahbaz Sharif is the only close contender, in my opinion
Re: Any leader/political party that is sincere with Pakistan?
so what is a leader? Someone who is backed initially by the agencies or the army to win votes, and then they become entrenched in power and are visible so people start to notice them and cast votes for them? Nawaz, Altaf, Shehbaz Sharif etc they are all from this group. They're not organic "leaders". Manufactured nutjobs is more like it.
Re: Any leader/political party that is sincere with Pakistan?
Of course… i am a member of PTI, they opened up the memberships a while ago, i saw the opportunity and went for it. Not dishonest but very political minded people, but still in comparison to other parties, these are people who don’t care much about sayasat chamkaing but just to help the masses.

One man party does not make you a leader. NO offense to him, I like the guy and I will vote for him but truth is truth.
Re: Any leader/political party that is sincere with Pakistan?
It seems like a one man party because there are no old faces. They're all unelected for now and will become known to all once they're in power, iA.
They do have a pretty strong second tier group in place now, in terms of social standing. Like former members of judiciary, leaders of lawyers, people from the banking sector etc. And they're getting a lot of mileage in the media.
Re: Any leader/political party that is sincere with Pakistan?
Imran with ppp's base and organization would be ideal. Currently as a whole ppp has the best people but has appalling leadership. Imran is sincere but he has had a bit of a taliban problem. Has to be said though after sherry rehman he is one of the more prominent advocates for blasphemy law reform. A bit more of that and im a convert.

Same here, registered member :p
Retired Justice Wajihuddin also joined PTI recently, so that's one more sincere member they have there.
Re: Any leader/political party that is sincere with Pakistan?
I didn't register.....but did vote in by-elections :D
Re: Any leader/political party that is sincere with Pakistan?

Shahbaz Sharif is a good administrator, no doubt about that. I'm not so sure about his intentions though. A lot of his public expenditure IMO is misdirected, building all the roads, bridges, parking plazas when really we should be aiming to put the Lahore Rapid Mass Transit project into motion.
