All I know is that PCB is saying he is improving, and it is quoted to Neil Foster. Which mean he still have a way to go.

He,s probably going to AUS. now to have his action retested again,if cleared by westren university of AUS. and ICC,which he is quite hopefull for, he should be back for SA series.

I don't understand all this, I mean if I want to throw a ball I can do it purposely means can mix with legal deliveries, then why can't these bowlers bowl correctly. Aur sonay pe sohaga PCB has ample money to waste on them.

And PCB wouldnt allow a chance to younger bowler like Niazi, Jamshed etc.

As per the preliminary report received by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) from University of Western Australia Biomechanics experts this afternoon, the bowling action of Shabbir Ahmad has been found within the legitimate parameters laid down by the International Cricket Council. The detailed report is expected after about a week’s time subsequent to which the PCB will do the needful for getting Shabbir’s clearance to represent Pakistan after his one-year ban finishes on 18 December, 2006.

He might play for another year or so then he will be reported, and by that time Asif will be back :insha:

^ I hope he can maintain a consistent action this time. Last time it was cleared as well, but the problem was during the course of a match it would get worse.
With the absence of Shoaib and Asif, Shabbir would be a welcome addition. If only to keep Sami out. :)
