Are there any pakistani jatts in the forums? Im really interested to learn about the culture… i know Pakistanis are Pakistanis but there are many subcultures existing in Pakistani society due to the different castes.. for example, me being Pathani, is much different than the Mughal friends i have… you know what i mean? i hope i made sense here

Even i dont know much ........... but was just curious to know what lemon414 had to ask about it.
Ages ago in the school (year 6 or 7 i think) when among students this topic about casts came up and everyone was asking eachother about their cast, i still remember that i could not give them any answer. I had to ask my mom that day after school "what is our cast?". And then i got more confused that I was a Jutt from my father's side and a Raajpoot from my mother's side. And then that there are furthur subcasts under Jutts.
I mean, I have never been into much details of it but was just wondering if i could give lemon414 answers to related questions .......... :)

Same here. I did not even know if I was a Sunni or Shai until some girl asked me in the 8th grade. My family was never like "oh you cant talk or be friends with people who arent sunni like you or who arent punjabis" or I never gave a ****, afterall we are all Pakistanis.

I am from the Mughals too. So I am a Jutt Chaudhry Punjabi Mughal person. Lol, with some history coming from the Kashmiris and Pathans.

ok sorry i didnt know people answered. well i just want to know like do you guys (jatts) have specific code of conduct and all that? as a pukhtoon we have the code of pukhtoonwali and dont really prefer to marry outside of teh caste, is that the same with jatts? and is it true that jatts are very strict, dont really like other castes, and believe in having multiple wiveS?
