any indian movie worth watching nowadays?

as boring as it may sound the majority of indian films I’ve watched are of late Sanjeev Kumar. That’s all. He was the only actor who’s films were worth watching other wise you always had your monkeys like amitabh, daleep and rajeesh khanna etc over shadowing him with their sex appeal and they didn’t know jack about acting. Sanjeev died and I stopped waching indian films. I’ve watched every single one of his movie, no matter if it was only 10 minutes guest appearece in Kala Pather, I watched it.

So what’s out there now that’s worth the time? plz don’t mention any cheesy love story movies with long names or movies with cheap action sequences that have been lifted from H’wood. I’ve seen a few sequences of these so-called movies and banged my head on the wall.

aap mahaan ho ji...aap ke level ki movies ab nahi banti.....so its not a time for you to return to the bollywood stuff. Stick to the quality productions of multibillion dollar industry. Hollywood that is.

it doesn't have anything to do with money. Sanjeev Kumar's films were of the 70's 80's era and u can imagine how big the movie budgets were at that time. It's about quality and brains, that his movies had.

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

try 'Jhankar Beats'

are u a naseerudin fan?? if so... watch 'The Encounter'.. its bit slow to start off with.. but once u get into it... it gets u right in the middle.. ouch..

If you wanna see some good performances, try Mr. & Mrs Iyer ( Rahul Bose ) , Haasil ( Irfan Khan), Jhankar Beats ( Rahul Bose and Sanjay Suri), Road ( Manoj Vajpayee) and, Company ( Ajay Devgan and Vivek Oberoi) among some recent flicks. None of these are inspired from Holly movies and are well received by critics.

look around there are many to choose from, mpkdh my brother has just seen it he recommends it and many others like armaan, qayamat, tere naam, saaya etc
