Its my birthday next week and the first time my hubby will be here to spend it with me. i wanted to do something special, ideally going out somewhere. originally id planned to go to liverpool but ive had jury service and so didnt want to book anything incase it clashed with that. now jury service is over and tickets (we were planning on going by train)are too expensive now :frowning: cant really afford it, we’re trying to save for going to pakistan in a few months. sooooooo any nice ideas of where we could go? we live in the east midlands so itd be great to go somewhere close by. we have a car too, just dont want parking to be a problem. any ideas will be much appreciated :slight_smile:

It is hujj season , visa for umra is not being issued now.

I am in west midlands, dun know about east ,book a table at Jimmy spices n celebrate your bday there with cake , cocktail juice n different cultural food :hmmm:

Finally, an idea! Where is Jimmy Spices? west midlands is also doable as its not too far :slight_smile:

There are 3 Jimmy Spices in west midlands,,one is in Brumi city centre broad street
One is in solihull city centre n the third one is in Sutton coldfield City centre,,, I have no idea where you live in east,do search it on google though,may b you might have it around you ....

you can also cook for him, and celebrate it at home. Creating a nice cozy environment. Only if you want to celebrate at home bt going out sounds fun as well..

Go into Manchester instead.

Trafford centre's worth a look (though I'm not a big fan). Plenty to do in the city centre as well, plenty of places to eat, or watch a film

I have been to Traffod centre , it's great for entertainment .. no doubt it has made a massive impact on Manchester ,, same as Bull Ring in brum
