salam people,
my hubby is coming inshAllah in 4 days, its been a loooooooooooooooong hard 8 months apart ! but Alhamdolillah. i just need some help for a menu. i have just had a baby and ive been at my mums so not been cooking much, i think i may have lost my touch and i cant come up with any good menu ideas for him. his flight should InshAllah be arriving at 10am, because its a long flight i dont think dinner would be weird at this time.by the time he gets home it will be 12 anyway so should be ok heh na ?
i want to cook him something different and special. any ideas welcome.
PS no chinese menus because i cant cook chinese to save my life !
why don't u cook something that he likes but hasn't had it in a while........
or if you're really stressing over it just ask him directly, i'm sure he won't hesitate in letting u know:)
Make whatever he likes. Or you can do traditional desi...like make biriyani/pilao, some chicken salen...some kebab...some dehi balla or dehi dish..some chutney shutney....u know typical. :)
You can even make pasta dish if he is into that...you can make any type of salad...make some nice drinks....but whatevr u make do a really nice creative presentation for him....something romantic or fun.
Also make extra food for 2-3 days so you dont have to spend time cooking and can reheat and just spend time with him. I totally know how you feel, I waited 6 months for my husband to come after our wedding.
