I absolutely loved Wendy darlings baby shower cake stand! Awesome! Anybody have any ideas for color scheme for Eid party get to gether. I want a beautiful center piece for dessert table!

OMG I just saw the cake and cupcakes...so cute and done to perfection mashAllah Wendy:)
I am greatly fond of cooking and baking too (Mainly because I have a sweet tooth myself :p) And since its just the two of us (hubby and me) the cupcakes/cakes never finish so i usually bake for family dawats or when visiting friends or relatives. Can you suggest some books/websites from where you learnt to use fondant and icing etc? I could always take classes, but since its more of a hobby and i enjoy experimenting, I would like to learn on my own...thank you so much :)
Twinklestar: What about meringue pies or fruit cakes or 3 flavored cupcakes? Last eid I used a three tier stand for red velvet, chocolate chip and lemon cupcakes...
