Well they look pretty close to me… Theoratically two procs will never share 50 50…cuz while the proc are symitric the load isnt.
Secondly win2k is not the worlds best multi proc OS…
so much for the text book info…

And about the solution.. It would be a lot easier, If you installed Win2k Server..
all u have to do is swap the processors around every 2 weeks and that will equal the amount of work one processor has to do

Who-me is write, your cpus will never bew 50 50. it is normal to have one cpu with 60% load and other with 30%.

khair, regarding reply .. hmmmmmm .. yar they are only close when i took the shot…
in the ACTUAL procedure when i was doing an entensive encoding, it was like 59% to like 32%.. (both graphs were wayyyyyyy different)..
win2k isn’t the M.P.OS i know, BUT problem for me is that if i put some SuSE, bsd or solaris or any linux stuff, family will keep on complaining that they dunno to THIS and they dont know to do THAT. (would be perfect solution btw

JUST 'server' or ADVANCE server? i heard there are two separate releases..
put it this way .. i CURRENTLY have 160ram inside right now.. and the case to motherboard PHSYICAL area is in such a way that i can only use two out of my three memory slots .. (so i cant RIGHT away put another 256mb stick in it)..
could a month of addiction with all the multitasking would survive under server/advance server? (space isn't the issue, neither processing power) i am only slightly weak in the memory area..
(its cheap btw....)

in nt4 classes, we were given microsoft progies.. (UNSUPPORTED apps developed by personnels @ microshaft) that let us control the load behaviour and stuff..
i forgot and have misplaced/lost the notes AND the progies that were given to us in mcp .. also i just have lost the THINKING skill due to some personal problem =)
