I agree, its tough to live in jeddah being a woman especially if you want to be independant but I think it will become more liberal in the future, I mean now you can see women without abayas or hijab on saudi tv, that was like a big no no in the past. Anyway I love jeddah as it is.
I heard women can drive in dahran though or maybe yanbu. Hey! you can still drive in compounds in jeddah :D

If I can get a job in Faisal Hospital with higgh pay and be able to drive around..then no probs :D

Anyone ever went bowling at mosadia centre? I used to go there a lot with my friends and then attack the al baik nex to it :D

I used to go to an Al-ahli club for swimming but I stopped going there because they put too much goddamn chlorine in the water plus I used to get into fights with arab kids there

EM: Its a place on madinah road on the way to balad. It was sort of like a game arcade as well and had small bowling too. Was next to the al baik in mosadia. there was a megastar shop there too. ring any bells?

it was one of the few good hangout spots in jeddah

It was opposite the city centre if you know where that is and there was this eye and ear hospital opposite it too magrabi hospital i think
