The way to these place from Karachi is through National highway, the road isnt in very good condition but drivable. There are police checkpoints all over the road at about 2 to 3 kilometers apart, tell your driver to keep “20 rupay wali gaddi”, stop at the checkpoints “shake hands” with police, roll over, and drive along. Probably your host in Karachi knows this… The area around these places is relatively safe, considering these are established and maintained tourist spots
