Although i personally think there could be a genuine reason why he is not being able toi come over but then he would have told her so and if this was the reason he concluded everything upon he really needs to mature mentally.Men have their ways i guess!

I have many cousins or pals who are docs, and their lives are miserable sometimes in terms of time off. especially during residencies and fellowships. Maybe his schedule is the killer, or maybe he found someone else..who knows.

I agree withe the fact that people in the medical profession do try to cash on their reputation as much as they can cuz no doubt there is a lot of respect attached to it,specially the new MD's if u know what i mean, they think they can rule the world after getting the khitab...

well they try to cash in on their profession just liek the girls, and more often girl's parents are chasing after them..how many times have u seen rishtas where they are looking for a doc. I mean why... an accountant or a geologist are not educated people? but its a supply and demand thing..it is wrong to just blame it on docs..

exactly Mr.Fraudia thats the point i was trying to make!

^ I dont blame it on the docs but the culture and I would hope the new generation of docs would be a bit more down to earth. We lose out a huge segement of our communities cause we like to put people into boxes such as docs, engineers and them lowley teachers. Thats my basic issue with all the "high regard" held for docs. It generates more issues then it solves.

hmcq if docs were ebign paid as much as teachers do, u will not see ppl looking for a doc, it is not about respect for the profession but for the money.

hey, its the materialistic society that puts them on a pedestal and you think they will not get an ego if ppl are treating them as such?

and on the flip side...docs then also have to be careful to see who is just a gold digger..and when the reject gold diggers or girlsd they cant see themsleves with we call them snobs..

its not black and white..its grey..or maybe zebra print..

UFF! Im sick and tired of reading about all these potential future spouse related threads. There is so much more to life than finding Mr. Right. All these girls who keep day dreaming about such crap, have no life, nothing else better to do. They waste all their time and energy finding a perfect mate so after shadi they can just relax, get laid everynight, bitch about everything and become a baby machine.

Jadoon milna howay ga koi, tay mil jaway ga, ay PC saari khaap kiss gaal di jay?

I find that a docs tend to think of themseleves as gods gift to mankind and we tend to give them that impression. However the typical doc I have met is arrogant and has little time for anything other then himself.

hmmmm, so thats what you think???
interesting to hear your point of view on this subject matter!

Based on previous encounters yes that is the impression I have gotten. However there are a few gems in there as well you just gotta work hard to find them
