ask both of them if they have any btw they should provide
and must check the quality before contract i will suggest event a meeting with photographer
she is individual working photographer and have good skills
if you can specify budget it will be more easy to suggest

These links all look great! I've contacted most of them (through email). Now waiting to see what quotes they'll come back with. I'm not exactly working off of a budget. It would depend on the quality of the work and the relative cost. If I had to set a limit, I would say I want it under Rs. 100,000. Is that a reasonable budget if I want to hire a photographer and videographer for 2 days? I'd probably be willing to go a bit higher if it's someone I really like.

Yeah agree with saad and you can always negotiate with them!
we hired ATF & faheema for many family functions! I liked faheema's work plus shes not charging a lot. I remember she covered one of my frd's wedding and valima and charged her 40 to 45k for both events. so shes pretty reasonable compared to other female photographers!

haha exactly faheema's work is nice but you know charges are now mowing upward with her demand

I've contacted all if the people you've mentioned so far. ATF is unfortunately already booked up for the days I need them. Sitwat insiya can only do my valima and that may work by I was kind of hoping for the same group for both days. The rates are actually higher than I'd expected since photography alone for the two days is costing me upwards of Rs. 90 000. Will keep looking though. If you guys know if anyone else, please let me know.

Thanks!! I ended up going with Hakim sons. They gave us a male and a female photographer package covering both the wedding and the valima. The pics turned out pretty nice, so am happy. Thanks again for all your guys' help!
