I know a family that is going through great turmoil and I’m hoping someone can give me a helpful prayer for this situatiom.
The family is completely at odds with one another. There’s two sisters and a brother… 18,20, and 21 with the boy being the oldest, and they live with their parents. The dad and son get along and only the mother and daughters get along. Basically male and female are living under one roof, but separate lives. Teh father and son make life hell for the daughters, and each and every time the mother takes a stand for them, her husband gets “russa hua” and completely stops talking to her… disappearing for the whole day without telling her where he’s going, not saying a word other than “istree my clothes”, “where’s my food”, or general complaints that he has with her or his daughters. Add to that, he hasnt really even spoken to his daughters for the past two years and doesnt care to. If and when he does, it is only to belittle them or to lecture them quite harshly (vulgar, angry, expletive laced lectures.)
Does anyone have a dua for bringing peace to the family? Obviously at this point they’re not all looking to be best friends, just wanting to live at least with sukoon.
I’m so sorry to hear all that Sabriya. Besides praying for them and asking Allah (SWT) to have mercy on them all, and to put love between them, you can do the duaa in your own words, because a duaa sincere from heart is best and Allah (SWT) commands us to ask Him and He will inshaAllah fulfill our just duas.
Alternatively, there are certain specific duaas such as duaa for anxiety, grief, stress, etc. that you may recite after prayer, along with ofcourse the duaa you would do in your own words.
Check this out, it may help. I pray for them as well, may Allah (SWT) bless the family, and all the families with love and kindness amongst each other and peace. Ameen
I have heared Surah Jumma has effect of love, well as muslims we shld belive the whole Quran has but i have heared if u read surah jumma on fridays and blow it on water and let two people drink each others jhutta that creates love ........ So if i knew the family i will recommned mom to since she wud be able to talk to her son and she ocassionally talks her husband, i wud recommned her to read surah-e-Jumma every friday blow on water and make every one drink it,( both shld drink each others jhutta i.e if daughter drink from it first then dad and son shld drink it and then daughters again) i dunt think it matters if person drinking the water knows it or not..... if there is a doubt then u shld make sure with a aalim however as a muslims we shld belive that there cant be a negative impact of readin Quran ...
hope everything gets better btw them !!
