I dont want anything-LOL. i just thought it wud be good for the design students or generally any1 who likes designing 2 hang out together and discuss or share their creations. I am studying in nca-final year student. So what do you study?

Oh ok gr8 i wl check out your journal. Well i like coming to the forums for general discussion and i was seeing that we hardly ever have any topic related to arts. So i thought why not make one and maybe we all wl benefit with it. Here we can show our work to each other and get their constructive criticism if needed.
As of now i would like to ask you people what do you think of Butterflies as a thesis topic for a textile student?. I am quite confused because earlier i wanted to work with japanese textiles but since somebody already last year had worked on it my teacher didnt allow me to take that up. So i took butterflies but i am not sure if i am totally happy with my topic. I am very bad in making decisions and once i get stuck at sumthing it gets pretty bad. So now the trouble is that my teacher thinks i should work on butterflies as she sees potential in me for this topic. The kind of work i like is japanese textiles and also psychedlic 60's but too bad somebody already is working on it. So any ideas guys?

Hi Maham, I was looking for somebody like you... i needed to talk to a design student as i m interested in taking fashion designing in the near future as a career. Tell me something what is the difference between fashion designing and textile designing ? I see these two couses offered by many colleges but dunno whats the difference ?

^ hey, r u same person who signed up at my forum? anywayz the difference between textile and fashion design is that textile is basically surface designing but fashion designing is taking those surface designs and transfering them into clothes so its abt the cuts n the stitching.

hey! well my major is fashion merchandising and design, but i also wanna double major in textile/clothing. im really into this kinda stuff. i think butterflies is a great topic..i would love to do that.
