When I had been to Markham a few months back, there was a dars going on in a masjid (can't remember it's name though). It wasn't the Nuget masjid but it was another big one further north of that. It's the one across the street from Zam Zam Superstore (if i recall the name of the store correctly). They had it after Fajr salaat but unfortunately I can't remember what day it was.
