I have had a worst experience ordering online with’‘Moazzam Abbasi’'so called designer.
I am looking to purchase a decent classy dress with new cut and trend to wear on a close relative’s wedding.I am in USA
I want my sis to go and purchase in Karachi.
Do oyu guys refer me any designer ,shop or market to purchase a ready made dress in between range of 20-25.000 Pak Rupees??
There are so many designers who are on Facebook work from home and claim they are the best but seeing pic and ordering was a nigh mare in past.
Any designer who has some pretty collection in my price range??
PLZ friends tell me where to purchase a out fit in this price range which is read made??
I am in late 40’s and want to look decent and elegant …plz advice where to go get one.

Check with Catwalk. she is a guppy on here and I heard good reviews about her. I think she also posted some pics of her work and the kaam was good. Other than that, tell your sister to go to Jabeens or PLK in Karachi. I am sure that she will find a nice outfit for you in that range. My khala is getting my bridal and some heavy formals from there. Also, a lot of the designers get their kaam done from those shops. So do check them out!

Jabeen's or Rim Jhim are fab. Asifa and Nabeel or anywhere within Zamzama will have lots of boutiques and variety for your price range.

Mohsin's in Clifton (Near Gulf) -- ive heard a few people say its in Tariq Rd. too but im specifically talkin abt the one in Clifton cuz i dont have personal experience with the one at Tariq Road.
REALLY REALLY amazing stuff... bargain is the key here... my mum in law bought me two party-wears (the after-shadi 1-2 week new-bride look, if u will) with heavy but classy kaam on it and the initial price they quoted was 25k each but after haggling it came down to 15k each. They have the most beautiful and different and latest styles and each one is better than the first.. whenever i set my heart on something they show me another design and i fall for it instantly.. i go there with a mindset of just browsing around but end up buying 2-3 dresses.. For my Valima dress they started with one lac ten thousand but after bargaining (and also reducing some work on the dupatta as it was super-heavy and i wanted the borders a bit lighter cuz i want to be as comfortable on the valima day as possible!! the dhaka pajama and shirt remained as it is no work was was reduced on it) it came down to 60k... And it doesnt even look 60k it looks more like 2 lac + cuz of the quality of work and stitching .. One of the bestest places ive been to during the whole shadi-shopping ordeal... different designs and latest looks.. ofcourse thats just relative.. what may be AMAZING to one may be only mediocre to another.. its abt personal preference really...but do gv it a shot :)

You can also try Rizwan Moazzam they have great stuff. On the Other hand if you want to try local markets there is kurtaba and Kehkashaan at Gulf. You can get beautiful heavy outfits arnd 10k-15k but that is just embroidery. But in 20k Max you can get a beautiful dress!!

Agreed with nidasak in the 18-20k price range u can get sum amazing dresses made from Kehkashan. Heavy work usually costs around 13-16k there ... with stitching some extra additions here and there it hits the 20 mark

I bought a lovely outfit from the tariq rd location it was heavy and decently prices in my opinion.
