First of all, please remove the weblink from your signature, as this is disallowed per the rules of GUPSHUP.

As far as your question is concerned, I am assuming you are in Pakistan, and want to know about CA in Pakistan. First thing to remember, is that rules and exemptions have changed dramatically in the last few years, so for the most current and up-to-date information, you should contact ICAP (Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan) at http://www.icap.org.pk however, generally, after A-Levels you can do the 18 month foundation course conducted by an ICAP approved college, and take the two foundation exams. Once you have completed that, you apply for articleship in a professional accounting firm, and do four years of articleship, during (or after which) you have to pass two professional exams.

As far as I know, Pakistan and UK have no reciprocity agreement, so if you want to become a chartered accountant in England and Wales, you probably need to do an articleship in UK. But you should find out from the UK Institute for exact details. A UK chartered accountant, on the other hand, can get membership of ICAP, if he/she passes the paper of taxation. Again, this exemption, and similar other exemptions were being radically modified in recent years, so get the most updated info by contacting ICAP.

Re"

Thank you very much
Dont you think that realtivelt the Pakistani ICAP site is very boring and contains lesser information as compared to the foreign sites.
