Nothing but hype + people are running away from there + flames suck.
Not saying the Habs are any better but flames suck. Oh btw, the leafs are the worst team in the NHL, scratch that, make it the worst team in ice hockey in the world! Yeah I said it.
To OP, you will love Canada as a whole, there are positive and negatives for each city, you will find what you're looking for in one of the major cities. So come and taste what the great white north has to offer.

I don't even care about flames but i've got to say leafs suck more than flames which is saying something :D I don't care about hockey or baseball or the thing they call football here... the real football is something to watch :D the beautiful game.

Canadian football isn't a sissy sport compared to American football! See, now you will get Aussies saying how much of a sissy sport football is since rugby is where it's at. But Hockey > football any day.

OMG!!! Whoever said that Flames suck...must be smoking something!!! There doing amazing!!! Have you not seen the standing!!!! Right now there Canada's best chance...at bringing home the cup!! All those haters are just jealous...lol And yea Habs are pretty sweet too!!! But ever since I moved to Calgary....I fell in love with the Flames!!! And yes there well deserving of all that love!!!
And hockey teams aren't stupid!!! Man those guys dont get paid enough for all they do...its such a phyically demanding sport....there salary is unfortunetly a JOKE compared to NBA, MLB...and even Golf.....now those sports are stupid!!!
